Robin Kloda

Robin Kloda was elected Senior Vice President of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Department of Hawaii, on June 20, 2026, during the 67th Department Convention held in Honolulu, Hawaii.
 
Robin has been a Life Member of the Lance Corporal Hayward Kimo Hamili Peleiholani Auxiliary to VFW Post 3830 in Pahoa, Hawaii since 2011. She became eligible for membership through her sister, Sherry Kloda, who proudly served 20 years in the United States Navy. Her father, Francis Kloda, served in the United States Air Force and was awarded the Purple Heart. Her son-in-law, Nicholas Rombach, served 11 years in the United States Army.
 
During more than 15 years of dedicated service to the Auxiliary, Robin has held numerous leadership positions, including President, Senior Vice President, Chaplain, Treasurer, Secretary, and Trustee. Her commitment, leadership, and innovative approach have made her a respected mentor and valuable resource for Auxiliary members throughout the Department.
 
Before retiring, Robin served as an Assistant Nutrition Services Coordinator for the county, where she coordinated six Meals on Wheels offices dedicated to serving senior citizens throughout the community. Earlier in her career, she volunteered as the leader of a New York State Head Injury Association Support Group, helping adults with traumatic brain injuries and connecting them with vital services and support.
 
Robin believes that honoring veterans should extend far beyond a few days on the calendar. She recognizes the sacrifices made not only by those who served in uniform but also by their families, whose unwavering support made that service possible. She is committed to ensuring that veterans and their families receive the respect, appreciation, and assistance they deserve every day of the year.
