Mr. Robert (Lopaka) Correa III is an Ordained Minister and was elected Chaplain for the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Department of Hawai'i on June 20, 2026 at the 88th VFW Department of Hawai'i Convention at the Ala Moana Hotel in Honolulu, Hawai'i.

 Comrade Lopaka honorably served in the United States Army from 1981 to 1998, voluntarily retiring after 17 years of dedicated service. His overseas service earned him eligibility for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). His military awards include the Southwest Asia Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars and the Kuwait Liberation Medal.

Lopaka established a distinguished record of leadership and service within the Veterans of Foreign Wars at both the Post and Department levels. He served as the Department of Hawaiʻi Assistant Chaplain (2024–2026) and as the Post Junior Vice Commander and Post Chaplain of  Post 2875 (2024–2026).

Professionally, Lopaka serves as a Program Manager with the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC), supporting the G-4/3 Maintenance Assistance and Instruction Team (MAIT).

Lopaka is an active member of several veteran and fraternal organizations, including the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW), the International Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF), the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), and the Order of DeMolay.

Lopaka is married to Mrs. Ali Correa. Together, they have three sons and two grandchildren. They reside at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaiʻi.
